Interview Process
After submitting the online application, each applicant will be emailed a link to sign up for an interview, which will take place with one Assistant Director for Housing and Residential Life and one or two current CAs. Business casual dress is appropriate for the interview. Each applicant should bring a "self-portrait" item to this interview. This could be one of many things including a picture album, memento, favorite song, item of clothing, or a favorite book. The purpose of bringing a self-portrait item is to be an icebreaker where the applicant is able to share with the interviewers what qualities you have that the item reflects. For instance, the applicant might bring a rubber band because it is flexible and hard to break. We encourage applicants to relate the item to their personality and/or to the position.
Each applicant is required to attend Group Process Activity from 3:00pm to 5:00pm on Sunday February 12, 2012 in Gund Residence Hall Lounge. This activity will give interviewers the opportunity to see how each applicant works in group settings and presents information regarding the position to the applicants. Applicants unable to attend due to an academic activity (such as Mock Trial), athletic event, or other important commitment that cannot be adjusted, should let staff know immediately. Casual/comfortable dress is appropriate for Group Process.
