Discrimination Advisors
The Discrimination Advisors is a group of students, faculty and staff who work to help to keep Kenyon welcoming of diversity and free of invidious discrimination. Advisors serve as informal resources for students who want to talk about discrimination issues. They are available to listen to complaints, discuss allegations, suggest ways of addressing situations, facilitate discussions (when appropriate), provide information about College policies and procedures, or provide referral to others who can help. In addition, Advisors work on projects designed to keep the Kenyon community informed about discrimination and diversity issues. This includes bringing guest speakers, organizing campus events, and working with other campus organizations committed to creating a respectful and multi-faceted Kenyon.
First they came...
Martin Niemoller
When the Nazis came for the communists,
I remained silent;
I was not a communist.
When they locked up the social democrats,
I remained silent;
I was not a social democrat.
When they came for the trade unionists,
I did not speak out;
I was not a trade unionist.
When they came for the Jews,
I remained silent;
I was not a Jew.
When they came for me,
there was no one left to speak out.
