Minor Requirements
*NEW Department Policy: The Art History department has a new Minor form that is separate from the registrar's form. Our form can be picked up from your minor adviser or the department office.
Option 1: Broad
This minor is designed to give students an overview of art history. Courses that fulfill the minor requirements cannot be taken pass/fail. There are 5 possible programs, each totaling 3 units.

1 unit at the foundation level :ARHS 110,111,113, or 114 (taken in any order), and
-
1.5 units at the intermediate level, in two or more different areas of specialization, and
-
.5 unit at the advanced level (any 300-level ARHS course). ARHS 480 is recommended, but not required
OPTION 2: Focused (select one)
This minor is designed to give students an in-depth look at one area of specialization, with a broad enough base at the foundation level to be articulate about objects from other historical epochs.
