Overview and Forms
Introduction
A primary goal of the Office of Equal Opportunity is to eliminate discriminatory bias, both intentional and unintentional, in the college's employment practices. This guide is designed to provide easily accessible information to members of search committees on how to conduct a proper search from an equal opportunity point of view.
This guide builds on the hiring guidelines contained in the Faculty Handbook and Staff Handbook . Search committees conducting faculty searches should be aware of the Checklist for Administrative Assistants , the Protocol for Searches Involving Internal Candidates , and the Protocol for Searches Involving Spouses/Partners .
Please contact the Office of Equal Opportunity with any questions or comments.
