This flexible studio will accommodate the wide-ranging needs of installation art.

Lighting and Green Studio

This versatile space will give students the tools to discover the possibilities of video technology and photography.

Photography Wing

The photography lab and classroom space will allow students to gain experience with both traditional and digital photographic processes.

Advanced Student Studios

These shared studios will be made available to senior studio art majors.

Second Floor
Seminar/Meeting Room

This seminar room will also function as a lounge for meetings, conferences, and informal receptions.

Faculty Studios

Each professor will have a private space for meetings as well as an area suitable for pursuing creative endeavors.

Digital Tech

A technician will occupy this area, offering assistance to students using digital and video art equipment.

Administrative Assistant/Program Office

An administrative assistant will occupy this space which also serves as the studio art program office.

Digital and Video Art Wing

The emerging field of digital and video art will be explored in the expanded studios and classrooms in this wing.

Advanced Student Studios

These shared studios will be made available to senior studio art majors.

Lobby/Exhibit

The 982-square-foot lobby area will serve as both a gathering place for students and an exhibit space to display works-in-progress and class projects.

Third Floor
Print/Foundation Studio

This enlarged studio will enhance exploration of the conventional methods, new techniques, and mixed-media projects in printmaking.

Drawing Studio

The 1,368-square-foot drawing studio will offers a 30 percent increase in size over the existing studio.

Painting Studio

The 1660-square-foot painting studio will offer efficient use of space, an open design, proper lighting, and a separate shop area for building stretchers and frames.

Advanced Student Studios

These shared studios will be made available to senior studio art majors.

Advanced Drawing/Flex Studio

This studio, to be used by figure drawing classes, will also accommodate other classes undertaking special projects.
