I'm Frances Sutton and I am a rising senior with a major in Anthropology. I am from Western Massachusetts but have developed quite a few Midwestern tendencies during my three years at Kenyon: for instance, I can't walk around Gambier without saying "Hi" to almost everyone I pass. Thankfully, at Kenyon that is not uncommon, especially on the beloved Middle Path. At Kenyon, I am a WKCO 91.9 FM radio DJ and a member of the Horn Gallery, a student-run organization that holds campus events and brings musicians/artists of all kinds to campus. I work at the Kenyon College Bookstore as a cashier and champion ice cream scooper. I am also a member of the Archon Society, a co-ed Greek society dedicated to community service in the Kenyon and Knox County communities. When I'm not working or studying, I can usually be found in Peirce Dining Hall, drinking coffee with friends and procrastinating the inevitable walk across Ransom lawn to the library. My favorite Kenyon pastimes include: singing at Open Mic Nights at the Horn Gallery, biking the Gap Trail, and eating Bookstore ice cream. I hope to help you have an excellent Orientation and introduction to Kenyon! Please feel free to email me with any questions at suttonf@kenyon.edu .
