Notice of Individual Student Responsibility
While faculty and staff stand ready to encourage and advise, the final responsibility for complying with College policies and procedures as well as for meeting degree requirements rests with the individual student. Students have access to all of the College policies in the Course Catalog and various Enrollment Instructions and are held accountable for their content.
Enrollment Instructions for On-Campus Students

The system will only allow students to enroll in 2.25 units (four 0.50 unit courses plus 0.25 units) of credit via web registration. Any additional labs, music lessons/ensembles, PHSD or dance classes can be added during the drop/add period. Fifth 0.50 unit classes will be added beginning the first day of the semester.
Recommendations for preparation
We recommend that students make use of the bookmarking feature of the Searchable Schedule. Once you log in to the web registration system, the classes will fill up quickly. If you are prepared with all of the correct CRN's for your first and second choices, you will be more successful.
Alternate PIN Required
You must get an alternate PIN from one of your advisors to sign in to register.
Permission of the Instructor (PI)
Courses that indicate PI (permission of the instructor) cannot be added during web registration unless an override has been entered prior to web registration. Contact the instructor to let him/her know you are interested in the course. The instructor will either, sign an Override Form, provide you with an email to bring to the Registrar's Office or provide us a list of names. We need these forms no later than 24 hours before your class is allowed to register.
If this cannot occur before the web registration period, bring a drop/add form with the instructor's signature or an email from the instructor attached. We will not register you for the course, but will override the error in the system so that you will be able to add the course.
Pre-requisites
Courses with pre-requisites listed in the course description (see the Searchable Schedule of Courses) will be checked by the system (excluding MATH and PHYS). If your record does not list the AP score or the Kenyon class listed, you will be unable to enroll in the course via the web unless you bring us an Override Form with the signature of the instructor. We will not register you for the course, but will override the error in the system so that you will be able to add the course.
Co-requisites
Enter the CRN's for any labs with lectures listed as the c0-requisite at the same time on web registration, otherwise the system will not register you for the lab.
Year-Long Courses (Y in course number)
These enrollments will occur after you complete your web registration. Students will be enrolled in the same section of the spring semester course. Students who wish to switch sections must obtain the signature of both instructors on a drop/add form and return it to the Registrar's Office. Students who wish to drop the second half of a year course must complete the Request to Drop the Second Half of a Year Course Form.
If these procedures are not followed and a conflicting course is added to a schedule, the Registrar's Office staff will remove the conflicting course from the schedule to add the spring year course.
Reserved Seats
In an effort to keep a particular balance of students in a class, some faculty choose to reserve seats by class. These courses should be considered a priority when registering. Courses with reserved seats can be found this link: http://registrar.kenyon.edu/reserved_seats.htm.
Audit
You may sign up to AUDIT a course ONLY during the Drop/Add period (first seven class days) of the semester. This can be done on a Drop/Addform. It requires your advisor's and instructor's signature.
Individual Study and Senior Honors
To add Individual Study or Senior Honors courses, you must use the individual study (PDF) or senior honors forms that are available in the Registrar's Office. These courses cannot be added via web registration.
