LabCorp leaves MMO Network

NOTICE: LabCorp LEAVES Medical Mutual of Ohio (MMO) NETWORK
Please share this information with your providers when you are receiving lab services after 8/31/07

Kenyon College was recently informed that LabCorp, a company that does lab work for certain physicians and hospitals, has chosen to no longer be part of the MMO (Medical Mutual of Ohio) network after 8/31/07. This means LabCorp claims will be processed out-of-network. MMO will be sending a newsletter to the MMO network providers over the next month stating that LabCorp will no longer be in-network and encouraging them to send lab work to an in-network lab. Part of MMO's network providers' role is to refer members to an in-network lab and avoid out-of-network penalties for the patient.

We recommend sharing this information with your provider(s) and ask them to send any lab work to an in-network lab.
