Training
A hazardous material is any biological, chemical or radiological substance with the potential to harm human or ecosystem health.
All new Kenyon employees in departments that use hazardous materials must attend training. This includes all new administrators, faculty, staff, and students. If you have not attended training, please contact your supervisor and request to be added to the semester's departmental training list. Student athletes should their Departmental trainer because the departmental trainer can schedule alternative sessions.
Those who were unable to attend scheduled classes should email the departmental trainer to arrange for training. It is the student's responsibility to register, to schedule and to attend training. Should the student fail to attend training after repeated attempts, the departmental trainer will notify the student's supervisor and the Office of Student Employment in writing.
