About the Ombuds Office

Mission

The Ombudsperson provides a process for disputing members of the Kenyon staff, administration and faculty to resolve their own differences informally, independently and confidentially.

Vision

The Ombudsperson seeks to promote an ethos of open communication and principled negotiation across all Kenyon divisions and departments.

Programs and Resources

Conflict is inevitable, and it can provide opportunities for needed change and growth in an organization. If you would like to discuss proactive approaches to managing conflict and improving overall communication in your office, please contact the Ombudsperson. She will help you tailor programs or resources to meet the needs of your work environment.
