Visual Resources

Overview

The Visual Image Collection - Slides and Photography is the home of approximately 116,000 36 mm slides and 2,000 mounted black-white photographs of mainly art and art history, plus other disciplines. The collection serves faculty and students campus-wide, though main patrons are from art and art history departments. One full-time Visual Resources Curator and several student assistants are hired to serve the campus efficiently and friendly. When the collection consists of traditional analog images, it is seeking for production and application of digital images for teaching and learning.
