All in the FamilyGAMBIER, Ohio (October 17, 2006) For visiting parents and the campus community alike, Family Weekend is a time when the Kenyon calendar comes alive. This year's visit weekend, to be held October 20 to 22, features music, theater, sports, and many other events, most open free of charge to all members of the faculty, administration, and staff.
Offerings range from Thornton Wilder's Our Town to a historical tour of the campus. The Symphonic Wind Ensemble will perform, as will student a cappella groups and the Kenyon Musical Theater/Opera Workshop. Home athletic events include contests in field hockey, football, and both men's and women's soccer.
