Pete Mills Quintet to perform at Kenyon College
GAMBIER, Ohio (October 20, 2005) The Pete Mills Quintet featuring Dwight Adams will perform at Kenyon College on Friday, November 4, at 8:00 p.m. in Rosse Hall Auditorium. Pete Mills, a native of Toronto, Canada, who lives in Columbus, is a tenor saxophonist whose quintet performs at jazz clubs and festivals throughout the country and in Canada.Dwight Adams is a trumpeter who has been called one of the "brightest stars on the Detroit" jazz scene. He teaches trumpet at Ohio State University and has toured worldwide with Stevie Wonder. Rounding out the Pete Mills Quintet are pianist Erik Augis, drummer Reggie Jackson, and bass player Andy Woodson.
The performance at Kenyon is free and open to the public.
