Self Assessment

Through our office you can take the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI). The MBTI measures personality traits in four dichotomies and assigns you a four-letter type. This type can be used to identify how you respond to certain situations, your potential strengths and weaknesses in the job search, and even potential careers where you could succeed. To take the MBTI, please call our office at (740) 427-5165. We will discuss the test with you, give you the questionnaire, and once you have completed it we will schedule a follow-up appointment.

FOCUS is a self-paced, online career and education planning tool for use by college students and alumni/ae. It will enable you to self-assess your career relevant personal qualities and explore career fields and major areas of study that are most compatible with your assessment results. Students who use FOCUS make better decisions about their goals and plans and learn how to self-manage their careers. Alumni/ae who use FOCUS can assess their current direction or explore other possibilities that utilize the skills and talents they already possess. You will need to contact the CDO for the keycode to register.
