OXO Ensemble to perform at Kenyon College
GAMBIER, Ohio (March 17, 2005) The OXO Ensemble will perform at Kenyon College at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 29, in the College's Brandi Recital Hall, located in Storer Hall.The OXO Ensemble is a new performance group based in Brooklyn, New York. The members come from a broad musical background spanning improvisation, chamber music, and electronic music. They have performed in a variety of venues from museums and festivals to garages and clubs all over the world. OXO is also a collective of composers who provide much of the repertoire and they actively collaborate with groups in theater, dance, and film.
For the concert at Kenyon, OXO will perform all new music, including works by composer Christian Wolff and pieces composed by members of the ensemble.
