Jane Martindell, dean for academic advising and support
Jane Martindell, dean for academic advising and support, is responsible for academic advising programs, both general and departmental. She develops programs and services to meet students' special learning needs. She initiates conferences with and provides support for students in need of academic advice or support, as well as students on conditional enrollment. Dean Martindell provides counsel to students on academic, social, and personal matters. Also, her office coordinates the First-Year Experience and works closely with the first-year dean on new student transitions. Dean Martindell is a source of information and advice concerning postgraduate awards, fellowships, and scholarships, including Fulbright Grants, Marshall Scholarships, and Rhodes Scholarships. Erin Salva, coordinator of disability services
Erin Salva, coordinator of disability services, is directly responsible for advising and supporting students with disabilities as they make the transition from high school to college. Students are required to provide documentation that is used for determining appropriate classroom accommodations. Erin also coordinates the Peer Tutoring program. Her office is in the back section of the Old Bank Building, beside the post office.
