The Office of Multicultural Affairs strives to enhance the academic achievement and personal development of under-represented students. These students include, but are not limited to, those of varying racial, ethnic, and cultural backgrounds, sexual orientation, and religious affiliations. The office also seeks to foster an environment that is committed to and genuinely appreciative of multiculturalism and diversity. In addition, the Office of Multicultural Affairs serves as a resource center for students and members of the administration, faculty, and staff interested in ethnic and cultural books, videos, journals, and magazines.
