About the Department
Located in Hayes Hall, the Department of Mathematics of nine faculty members, all of whom put teaching first-and yet remain engaged in the field. They teach about 27 courses a year. The department offers two types of majors.
Kenyon's program blends related but distinguishable facets of mathematics: theoretical ideas and methods, modeling real-world situations, the statistical analysis of data, and scientific computing.
