Family Weekend 2011

Registration for Family Weekend 2011

Online registration for Family Weekend is now closed!

You can register for Family Weekend online now! Please complete the online registration form with credit card payment by Monday, October 3.

Please use one form per family. The registration fee of $10 per person (maximum of $20 per family) helps to defray the expenses of the weekend. Meal tickets may be purchased on the registration form. Payment must be included in order to reserve meal tickets. When you arrive in Gambier, please stop by the Registration Center to pick up your reserved meal tickets and the weekend's final schedule of events. If you will be arriving after the Registration Center has closed, please ask your student to pick up any meal tickets you have purchased and a parking pass. (Please note the Registration Center hours below.)

If you have any questions regarding reservations, please email Patty Bower at bowerp@kenyon.edu or call 740-427-5147 between 9:00 a.m.-12:00 noon or 1:30-4:00 p.m. Eastern Time, Monday through Friday.

Shuttle.
The College does not offer a shuttle service during Family Weekend. If you need transportation, please contact Columbus Transportation and Tours at 1-800-476-3004 to make your arrangements.

Rental cars.
Commercial rental cars are available at the Port Columbus airport. Parking at many campus facilities is limited, so please plan to park your car and walk around campus.

Campus parking.
Parking on campus is limited. Please plan to park your car in a designated Kenyon College lot and walk around campus. Weekend parking permits are available at the registration center in the Old Bank Building. Please post the permit on the dashboard of your vehicle at all times. Vehicles parked on campus illegally or without permits may be ticketed. Vehicles parked in fire lanes will be towed. Please keep in mind that the Knox County Sheriff's Office may ticket vehicles parked illegally in non-campus areas, so take note of the fire lanes and the two-hour limits on spaces in the village center. Unfortunately, the College is not able to assist with tickets issued by the sheriff's office. If you have any questions about parking, please inquire at the Campus Safety Office, 740-427-5109. Do not park on the berm along Route 308 (Chase Avenue). It is a state route, and cars left there will be towed.
