Social Board
Social Board strives to provide nonalcoholic activities and social programs for the entire student body throughout the school year. Members are selected by letter of intent which are collected by the board in the beginning of the school year. Members' attendance and participation of the events and weekly meetings is mandatory. As a result, members gain experience in the planning and production of events for the entire campus.
Social Board makes available to students a wide variety of weekend programs between the hours of 9:00 pm and 2:00 am. In the past, these events have included bands (both student and off-campus), open mics, dances, coffeehouses, comedians, game shows, off-campus movies and bowling, and other student-initiated programs.
Co-sponsorship of events with Kenyon students or registered student organizations is also available upon request and approval through Social Board. Any student or student organization can apply for funding of events or suggest ideas for programs by contacting the assistant director at x5661 or emailing socialboard@kenyon.edu.
