The questions below ask you to examine some of the components of your Off-Campus Study program. Candid and thoughtful responses will be appreciated. This evaluation will be particularly helpful to prospective OCS students. l. Why did you select this program/institution?

2. Did it meet your expectations and objectives?

4. Did your program/institution have a formal orientation? Was it adequate? What did it include?

5. Were the academic facilities (e.g. classrooms, studios, etc.) adequate and accessible? Were students encouraged to use resources outside the program (such as museums, university and public libraries, etc.)?

6. Were courses accurately and sufficiently described? Did instructors adhere to course descriptions? Were courses you'd expected to take canceled?

7. Please comment on the general caliber of faculty and administrative staff.

8. Please list any courses (with instructor's name) that you would highly recommend and any that you would caution a future student to avoid (with reasons why).

10. If any of your instruction was in a foreign language, please comment on your ability to follow lectures, write papers, and communicate with local inhabitants in the host country's language. How much language preparation did you have prior to departure?

11. How did the academic experience supplement or complement the study of your major discipline and/or your Kenyon education generally?

12. Did the program's/institutions printed information describe the general program and its costs accurately and completely? If not, what was omitted or inaccurate? What would you suggest to future students as a reasonable expectation for monthly expenses? For vacation travel?

15. If there was a program director, was he/she competent and available when necessary? What role did the director have in the program (teaching, advising, administrative)?

b. To what kinds of "cultural events" (from concerts to weddings, street bazaars to ballets) did you have access? (Choose your most memorable, since walking down the street can be a "cultural event" in some places!)
