Welcome! We are excited that you are planning a trip to visit Kenyon College! This page contains helpful information as you plan your upcoming visit. In addition to individual visits, Kenyon also offers larger visit programs throughout the year.
The Office of Admissions, located in Ransom Hall, is open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 a.m. (EST) weekdays throughout the year and 9 a.m. to noon on Saturdays throughout the academic year. Use our online calendar to find a date that might work for you.
Once you have a day picked, you will be able to schedule activities for that particular day. Note that not all activities are available on any given day. When you click on a particular day on the online calendar, you will be directed to the Plan Your Visit form. This form will list the activities available on the specific day. Our activities complement each other, allowing you to schedule a tour, interview and information session all in one morning or afternoon. NOTE: To schedule an overnight visit, please choose the day AFTER the overnight for your preferred activities in the Office of Admissions (tour, interview, etc.). For example, if you want to stay overnight on April 3, choose April 4 in the online scheduler.
Tours are led by current Kenyon students and are offered weekdays throughout the year and on Saturdays and Sundays during the academic year. Tours last roughly one hour.

Interviews are a recommended (but not required) part of the admissions process. They are a great way for the admissions office to learn more about you as a student and for you to learn more about Kenyon. Unless a student is traveling from another country, interviews are not available until the spring of the junior year. Interviews are available on weekdays throughout the year and on select Saturdays during the academic year. Interviews will last approximately forty-five minutes and are with either Senior Admissions Fellows or a staff member.

During the academic year, information sessions are offered at 12:10 p.m. on most weekdays and 11:10 a.m. on Saturdays. During the summer, information sessions will be offered weekdays at 12 p.m. Sessions last approximately fifty minutes.
Class visits are available on a walk-in basis. A list of pre-approved classes will be available in the Office of Admission on the day of your visit. Class visits are limited to prospective seniors and admitted students only.
This student-led tour of the Science Quad is offered on select days throughout the academic year. Science tours are offered on most Mondays and Fridays and will last approximately forty-five minutes.
During the fall semester, seniors visiting on a Monday or Friday can join a current student for lunch. In April, accepted students can join a student for lunch every weekday. Accepted students can also have lunch with a current student on select Mondays and Fridays during the spring semester. Consult the online scheduling tool to view available dates and find out more about joining a student for lunch.
Single night overnights are available on select Sundays and Thursdays throughout the academic year for current seniors. Reservations must be made at least 10 days in advance and space is limited, so please plan ahead. Students should plan to check-in at 4 p.m. on the day of the overnight (please keep this in mind as you make your travel arrangements). Activities scheduled for the following day are independent of the host. Guests should plan to bring a sleeping bag, pillow and toiletries. Students will be required to fill out the Code of Conduct Form and Liability Form. To schedule an overnight visit, please choose the day AFTER the overnight for your preferred activities in the Office of Admissions (tour, interview, etc.). For example, if you want to stay overnight on September 18, select September 19 in the online scheduler.
