Social Board is Kenyon's programming board, which strives to provide non-alcoholic activities and social programs for the entire student body throughout the school year.
Social Board makes available to students a wide variety of weekend programs usually between the hours of 9 p.m. and 2 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. In the past, these events have included bands (both student and off-campus), open mics, dances, coffeehouses, comedians, game shows, off-campus movies and bowling, and other student-initiated programs. Social Board is also responsible for the large annual events on campus such as Summer Sendoff.
Are you interested in joining? New members are accepted at the beginning of each semester. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org to find out more information.
Co-sponsorship of events with Kenyon students or registered student organizations is also available upon request and approval through Social Board. Any student or student organization can apply for funding of events or suggest ideas for programs by contacting Associate Director of Student Activities for Programming Kim Blank at x5661 or by emailing email@example.com.
