Reporting to an Assistant Director of Housing and Residential Life, the Community Advisor (CA) is responsible for the student development and residential administrative functions of an assigned residential living area.
The Community Advisor (CA) position is integral to the mission of the Office of Housing and Residential Life. Reporting to an Assistant Director of Housing and Residential Life, the Community Advisor (CA) is responsible for building an inclusive and engaged residential community, ensuring the safety of a designated residential area, supporting holistic learning as part of the liberal arts curriculum, and completing required administrative functions. It is expected that the Community Advisor will work an average of 18 hours per week. This time will be both structured and unstructured. A summary of the responsibilities are listed below.
