Kenyon College offers financial aid to a limited number of students who are not citizens of the United States. Financial aid is offered in a "package" that includes a grant, a loan, and an on-campus job. Because financial aid for international students is limited, only a small fraction (less than 10 percent) of international applicants will be admitted. While Kenyon does offer some financial-aid packages that cover all costs of attendance, international students with low need or no need are more likely to gain admission. The portion of the Kenyon Grant that exceeds qualified educational expenses, may be subjected to U.S. taxation.

The family contribution of international students will remain constant for all four years of attendance. Kenyon is need aware when choosing international students for admission; students receiving no financial aid upon admission are not eligible to apply for financial aid in subsequent years. Families who experience extraordinary circumstances while their student is enrolled are welcome to provide documentation for consideration.

International students applying for need-based financial aid will be required to complete both the International Student Financial Aid Application and the Certification of Finances. The ISFAA and Certification of Finances are both free. Students from Canada or Mexico should complete the PROFILE application (Kenyon code 1370) and not the ISFAA and Certification of Finances.
