Welcome to Health and Counseling. When you come to Kenyon, you fill out a medical history form, so that the staff can better serve you if you need help. You also have the option of purchasing a health and accident insurance plan, to cover needs beyond the regular services provided by the College. The Health and Counseling Center has regular hours and encourages individual appointments. Our staff includes a physician as well as nurses and nurse practitioners. They can address a full spectrum of medical issues.

The counseling staff includes professionals with a range of specialty areas, and we try to match each student with the counselor who can best meet his or her needs. Both individual meetings and group sessions are available. The staff also offers skill-building workshops on such topics as relaxation, assertiveness, self-esteem, anxiety and depression, alcohol abuse, eating and body-image concerns, and career decision-making.
