Kenyon's George Wharton Marriott Society recognizes our friends who have established planned or deferred gifts to secure the future of Kenyon College.
The Society was named for one of the earliest and most devoted of the "English friends of Kenyon College," after whom the grounds just within the gates of the College were named in 1826. It was through George Wharton Marriott that Bishop Philander Chase came to know Lord Kenyon, George Gaskin, and Lady Rosse. The rest is history. In like manner, those who make gifts to secure Kenyon's future are helping to write the story of Kenyon's tomorrow and will always be remembered. The members of the Marriott Society are listed in the College's annual report.
