Leigh E. Fine

Visiting Instructor of Sociology

Leigh Fine has come to Kenyon while finishing his dissertation as a graduate student in sociology at The Ohio State University, where he was a Graduate School Fellow in his first year. His research interests include sexuality, gender, and education. His dissertation examines how structural factors influence the likelihood of lesbian, gay, and bisexual college students completing their bachelor's degrees. His publications explore housework differentials, heterosexism on college campuses, and contextual factors that affect college campus climate toward sexual minority students. Fine has received several teaching awards at The Ohio State University.
