Sexual misconduct, in any form, is a serious violation of College and community standards, and it will not be tolerated at Kenyon. The College policy on sexual misconduct and the information on this site reflect the serious intent of Kenyon to provide resources and recourse for individuals whose rights may have been violated by an act of sexual misconduct.
Kenyon encourages students, staff and faculty to familiarize themselves with the following policies and definitions:
If you are a student and have been the target of a sexual assault, you have the choice to file a formal complaint with the College. You also have the choice to permit the Knox County Sheriff's Department to initiate an investigation. Read more about your options.
A College counselor is on call 24 hours a day, seven days a week. In addition the Sexual Misconduct Advisors maintain a hotline. For the complete list of Kenyon staff available to assist you in matters related to sexual misconduct, please visit the Who to Call on Campus page.
In addition to the resources on campus, students can also contact nearby counselor and medical care options.
Title IX is designed to insure that no person is discriminated against on the basis of sex in an educational setting. Kenyon takes its responsibilities towards compliance with Title IX seriously. Learn more about Title IX.
