Our Writing Consultants can help writers discover ways to begin an assignment, methods for organizing and developing ideas, and strategies for revision. They can also talk to writers about their writing process and suggest ways to break out of old patterns. Anything a student is writing is welcome in the Writing Center: poems, fiction, letters, articles for the Collegian or Observer, comprehensive exams, honors proposals, fellowship applications, cover letters, resumes, essays for special programs or graduate school, and anything else. The Writing Consultants offer a fresh point of view.
Writing Consultants are students who are good at writing and talking to fellow students about writing. They provide "another set of eyes." A Writing Consultant will work with you to show you good options for improving whatever you are trying to write. (To see a complete list of this semester's Writing Consultants, go to "Meet a Kenyon Writer.")
