To join the Writing Center staff, submit an online application to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Along with your application, you are asked to submit a writing sample, usually a short paper written for a Kenyon class.
Applications are due immediately after spring break for staff positions available for the following year, ordinarily starting with the fall semester.
Students who work in the Writing Center are required to participate in monthly staff meetings on Tuesday during common hour, to discuss and learn more about the theory and practice of peer tutoring in writing.
Either concurrently with their first semester of work or prior to being hired, staff members must take ENGL 191.
