The Kenyon College Ombudsperson is a designated neutral person that facilitates the confidential and informal resolution of concerns for faculty and staff.
In this role, the Ombudsperson works with individuals and groups to explore and assist them in resolving conflicts, issues, or concerns. These services are independent from any formal grievance processes available at Kenyon. Also, the Ombudsperson brings systemic problems to the attention of the college in hopes of improving the workplace as a whole. The Ombudsperson reports trends in conflict to the College President but keeps confidential all individual contacts with Kenyon faculty and staff.
