Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) 15 U.S.C. 6501-6508: prohibits unfair or deceptive acts or practices in connection with the collection, use, and/or disclosure of personal information from and about children on the Internet.
Proposed Changes to the Common Rule
The Federal Agencies involved in the Common Rule have proposed "revisions to modernize, strengthen, and make more effective the Federal Policy for the Protection of Human Subjects that was promulgated as a Common Rule in 1991."
