Upperclass Counselors (UCCs) are sophomores, juniors and seniors who are a vital part of the orientation experience. Each new student is paired with both a faculty advisor and an upperclass counselor.
The primary function of the UCC is to assist faculty advisors and new students by providing first-year students with experience and perspective regarding the advising process, a continuing responsibility throughout the year. The UCC is also expected to serve as a strong leader and positive representative of the College during orientation, assisting with programs as needed and actively contributing to the orientation process.
UCCs are matched with students based on academic and/or personal interests, including information provided on the Personal Data Form section of your New Student Forms. You will receive your UCC match in late July.
