Now in its eighth year, the Earth Day Festival is a unique event that focuses on how we can keep ourselves and the planet healthy. The planning committee strives to create a fun and entertaining atmosphere where people can connect with environmental and health-related resources.
Our goal is to encourage healthy decision making and inspire action for a healthy community We also strive to make attendees aware that these choices often go hand-in-hand. For instance, buying products made from recycled materials reduces air pollution, good for the planet and our lungs.
A diverse demographic, ranging in age and interest attend this free event. Many attend as a family or with a group of friends. Last year approximately 2,000 people attended.
