An inventory control tag will be placed on any single item that is purchased for $5,000.00 or greater. In the past, this was a metallic purple tag with numbers. The current tag is white with a barcode and numbers.
If you are selling or discarding an item that has an inventory tag, either the old or new style, you must complete an Inventory Disposal Form (PDF). Fill in all applicable information, remove the existing inventory tag(s) and adhere the tag remnants to the completed form. Return this information to the Fiscal Accountant, who may be contacted for further assistance.
