Sarah Kahrl has served as Kenyon's vice president for college relations since 2004. In this capacity, Kahrl completed fund-raising for the new Kenyon Athletic Center and led the planning and development of the current "We Are Kenyon" campaign. Before coming to Kenyon, Kahrl served as vice president for advancement at CAPA, a premier presenter of the performing arts in Chicago, New Haven, and Columbus. At CAPA, she directed major capital campaigns to restore and endow CAPA's historic theatres, managed national corporate sponsorship programs, and supervised individual and membership giving programs in three cities. A 1979 graduate of Smith College, Kahrl has served on the grants panels for the Ohio and Michigan Arts Councils and is the author of Corporate and Foundation Profiles: Columbus Supports the Arts, which was jointly published by the Greater Columbus and Ohio Arts Councils in 1988.
