Heidi Hansen McCrory has served as Kenyon College’s vice president for college relations since July 2014. She earned a BFA in communications from Southern Methodist University and a master’s in English from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Previously she held advancement positions at Sweet Briar College, Randolph-Macon Woman’s College, UNC-Greensboro, New England College and the National Head Injury Foundation.
A life-long member and volunteer with the Girl Scouts of the USA, Heidi has served as a speaker, national delegate, fundraiser and board chair, earning the GSUSA Thanks Badge. In 2008 she was recognized with the Athena Award from the Lynchburg, Virginia, Chamber of Commerce. Heidi and her husband Bill live in an old house in Mount Vernon with their two Newfoundland dogs. They have two adult children, Kirin and Austin.
