David Hoyt graduated from Kenyon in 2014 with a degree in political science. He returned to Gambier in 2016 and currently works in the Office of Communications, where he manages the College's social media presence, oversees several blogs, and contributes to the writing and editing of publications including the Alumni Bulletin. David previously worked in the Office of Annual Giving, where he oversaw Kenyon's Phonathon and Alumni Leaders of Tomorrow programs.
Before returning to Kenyon, David worked in Brooklyn, New York, as an assistant at the landscape architecture firm Michael Van Valkenburgh Associates, Inc. In his spare time, he enjoys playing viola in the Knox County and New Albany Symphony Orchestras. David grew up in Atlanta and now lives in Mount Vernon with a betta fish named Samson and a calico cat named Delilah.
