Linda Dauwalder-Dachtyl is a performer, composer, and music instructor in jazz piano and percussion at Kenyon College. She holds a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Performance from
Linda is signed to Chicken Coup Records, a division of Summit Records, and has released two CDs nationally as a band leader on her Hammond B3 organ, "Blue Bop" (2006) and "For Hep Cats" (upcoming release- January 2008). Both CDs also feature the drumming of Linda's husband and Kenyon percussion instructor Cary Dachtyl. "Blue Bop"/LDB3 and Friends placed in the top 50 for several weeks on allaboutjazz.com in the summer of 2006 and was picked as one of the top five jazz releases in 2006, by Lee Brown, jazz critic for The Other Paper in Columbus, Ohio.
