Interviews, Tours, Information Sessions & Overnights

You'll benefit from visiting Kenyon when classes are in session. You'll get a firsthand sense of the community and the excellence the College offers. To schedule a visit, please consult the admissions calendar to select a date to visit and then call the toll-free number, 800-848-2468. We ask that you provide at least two weeks notice so that we can best accommodate your visit to Kenyon. While no appointments are necessary to take a campus tour, please call the admissions office to confirm tour times since our schedule occasionally changes. Kenyon's Office of Admissions, located in Ransom Hall, is open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (EST) weekdays throughout the year and from 9:00 a.m. to noon on Saturdays during the academic year.

Why do we offer interviews for prospective students? We recommend interviews as a component of the admissions process to help us to get to know you better. While we'll learn a considerable amount about you from your application, an interview affords you the opportunity to express your interests, experiences and passions in person. Interviews also serve the dual purpose of providing you with a clearer picture of life in the Kenyon community. We hope that you'll be able to see yourself as a student at Kenyon--to see how you fit with our residential learning environment, what you hope to add to it, and how your life will be enriched from your time here. We strongly recommend that students wait to interview until the summer before their senior year.

We strongly encourage you to complete and submit Part I of the Kenyon Application prior to scheduling an interview. (Part I is available online and the application fee is waived if completed online.) Although Part I is an optional form, it allows our office the opportunity to share pertinent information with you regarding the application process--information most relevant to you and your specific interests.
