After Kenyon

Kenyon graduates find success and fulfillment in every walk of life. The value of a Kenyon education is reflected in the range of jobs our students get, the quality of the graduate programs and professional schools they enter, and the rewarding careers they build.

Kenyon has nearly 16,000 living alumni—among them, accomplished writers, scientists, medical and legal professionals, actors, teachers, and scholars. About 16 percent of graduates go directly to graduate or professional schools, and 84 percent enter the workforce. Of those applying to business and law schools, 99 percent are accepted; more than 90 percent of those with a grade-point average of 3.25 or higher are accepted at medical schools. Within five years of graduation, more than 70 percent further their education, with more than 50 percent earning advanced degrees.

Kenyon's graduates are also among the College's greatest fans. As author E. L. Doctorow, Class of 1952, has said, "I can't imagine being who I am without having had [the Kenyon] experience."
