Kenyon utilizes the College Board’s Institutional Documentation Service, known as IDOC (pronounced “eye-dock”), to receive and process the financial aid verification materials that support the CSS Profile and FAFSA applications.
After submitting the CSS Profile, IDOC allows for secure electronic upload, transmission, and submission of supporting financial aid documents and materials (federal income tax returns and schedules, W-2s, 1099 forms, etc.).
Returning student applicants who are U.S. citizen and who submit the CSS Profile can upload documentation immediately to IDOC. Prospective students will receive a notification from the College Board if selected to submit documentation to IDOC. Any application materials mailed by post or dropped off to the Office of Financial Aid Office in hard copy will be returned or shredded.
Please note that prospective and returning international financial aid applicants are NOT eligible to utilize IDOC.
The IDOC service is of no cost to students and will further the Office of Financial Aid’s migration toward the secure and sustainable goal of reducing paper flow throughout the office.
A slideshow tutorial that simplifies and explains the IDOC process is available at slides.collegeboard.org/idoc-student-dashboard.
