Maia, a political science major, has been an assistant in the Office of the President since 2014. She has a strong interest in civil rights, political institutions and social action. This past summer, Maia worked as a public-policy intern at the Women’s City Club of New York, researching public-service gaps in Brooklyn. A native of Scarsdale, New York, she spends her free time deejaying at the College radio station (WKCO), listening to NPR podcasts and eating with friends at the Village Inn. Maia's Kenyon connections are strong: her brother, Samuel Leeds, graduated in 2009, and her mother, Pegi Goodman ’73, was a member of Kenyon’s first full class of women.
